Our scientific approach is based on many years of research into the area of intestinal health in collaboration with national and international research partners, hospitals and commercial partners in order to secure the beneficial effects of our products.
We focus on scientific evidence and powered clinical trials. Our first fermented seaweed and plant product is part of a clinical study in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and SpondyloArthritis patients at Silkeborg Hospital, which began in 2018.
Fermented seaweed and canola improves the gut barrier by positive modulation of the gut microflora and strengthening of the gut lining for a well-functioning gastrointestinal tract.
The data is from a trial in nursery pigs. Piglets were fed with a commercial basal diet used as control group and with the addition of 2.5 % fermented seaweed and canola product into the basal diet. Blood, gut content and gut tissues were sampled from 10 piglets after 4 weeks of the dietary regimes and showed a significant positive gut microbiome modulation with addition of 2.5% fermented seaweed and canola product for support of a well-functioning gastrointestinal tract.
